All-inclusive day trip to Bao Loc (Lam Dong) — a cool highland destination just 100km from Da Lat, often called a quieter “second Da Lat”.
If you love Da Lat’s fresh air, waterfalls and green landscapes but prefer fewer crowds, this experience offers a more authentic alternative.
Start with a scenic drive from Mui Ne into the mountains, passing countryside and forest landscapes. Stop at Dami Dam for panoramic views before continuing to Dambri Waterfall, one of the largest waterfalls in southern Vietnam.
Explore the area via forest paths or take the elevator down to the base of the falls. Then enjoy the alpine coaster ride, a fun and unique way to experience the surrounding nature.
Afterwards, enjoy a Vietnamese set lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Bat Nha Monastery, a peaceful Zen retreat surrounded by pine trees, offering a calm atmosphere similar to Da Lat.
In the afternoon, visit a local coffee farm in Lam Dong, Vietnam’s coffee region, and learn about coffee cultivation (seasonal flowers or beans). Then walk through Bao Loc’s famous tea hills with wide open green scenery.
Return to Mui Ne in the evening after a full day of fresh air, nature and authentic highland experiences.
Authentic experiences shared by travelers on Mui Ne Jeep tours
It was a wonderful excursion. We saw a lot. The waterfalls were gigantic. Our guide explained everything to us in great detail and gave us a lot of information. He also showed us how silk is made. This tour is highly recommended.
