This is agreat experience. No need of guide cause the places are self explanatory. Sandals and Cash strongly recommended! Eat before going there are not many options on the venues. Drinks are available for purchase almost everywhere. Drivers are very nice with very limited english. I took the HCMC tour and the bus is super comfortable a/c, charging port and its a bed so you can sleep easy. To return there are restaurant next to bus station and convenience store. In the dunes you can walk or take ATV both are nice experiences. it is very very hot and not shade so make sure to bring sunblock and a hat. Mui Ne is very fun so this is recommended. Fairy Stream and beach stop great for walking.
Activity was great specifically the white sand dunes. Good way for us to spend the afternoon around Mui Ne surroundings. The tour and white sand dunes is a tourist attraction so you won’t be alone. But we enjoyed it. We took the ATV ride upon arrival and it was good fun. We also had a jeep for us 3 with a nice driver which allowed us to do the whole tour at our pace without feeling rushed or having to stay/wait. The fairy stream is not that fairy and we could definitely do without it. It’s too bad there are so many plastic and other garbage at the fishing village and around as the whole area is nice, the colorful fishing boats too.
We had an incredible time at both the sand dunes and seeing the fishing village and walking through the creek. Our guide Ly was so informative and brought the fauna and flora to life for us, showing us things we wouldn’t have noticed on our own. The rides on the sand dunes were exhilarating. I would highly recommend this trip. It was worth being picked up from Ho Chi Min city at 1.30am for to capture the sunrise.
